Accounts Assistant – Meath

Accounts Assistant – Motor Dealership | Full-Time | Navan Area

Our client, a well-established new and used car dealership, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • VRT Processing – Managing vehicle registration and documentation in line with revenue guidelines

  • VAT Returns – Preparing and submitting VAT returns on a timely basis

  • Invoicing – Generating sales and purchase invoices accurately and efficiently

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable – Monitoring and reconciling supplier/customer accounts

  • Bank Reconciliations – Completing bank reconciliations to ensure records are up to date and accurate
  • Ad Hoc Accounts/Admin Duties – Providing general support across the accounts team as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts role

  • Experience in the motor trade is desirable but not essential

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
