Accounts Assistant – Motor Dealership | Full-Time | Navan Area
Our client, a well-established new and used car dealership, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities:

VRT Processing – Managing vehicle registration and documentation in line with revenue guidelines

VAT Returns – Preparing and submitting VAT returns on a timely basis

Invoicing – Generating sales and purchase invoices accurately and efficiently

Accounts Payable & Receivable – Monitoring and reconciling supplier/customer accounts
- Bank Reconciliations – Completing bank reconciliations to ensure records are up to date and accurate

Ad Hoc Accounts/Admin Duties – Providing general support across the accounts team as required
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience in a similar accounts role

Experience in the motor trade is desirable but not essential

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
