Our Client is a well-established travel agency with a team of 8 dedicated professionals. They specialize in providing exceptional travel experiences and seamless booking services. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their team as an Accounts & Admin Assistant to support their Accounts/Office Manager.

Role Overview:

The Accounts & Admin Assistant will play a key role in supporting the daily financial and administrative operations of the agency. This role involves managing transactions, assisting with financial reconciliations, preparing documentation for clients, and working with our booking management system, Dolphin Dynamics. The ideal candidate should be numerically proficient, highly organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily Cash Reconciliation: Ensuring all cash transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
* Processing Payments: Handling customer payments, allocating payments to suppliers, and ensuring accurate financial records.
* Supplier Payments: Managing payments to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
* Office Administration: Assisting with general office admin tasks, including customer communication and document preparation.
* Customer Documentation: Preparing and issuing travel itineraries, invoices, and relevant travel documents.
* Balance Due Reports: Using Dolphin Dynamics to generate and manage balance due reports for customers and suppliers.
* Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintaining up-to-date financial records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
* General Support: Assisting the Accounts/Office Manager with ad-hoc administrative and finance-related duties as required.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role, preferably within the travel industry.
* Numeracy skills and attention to detail are essential.
* Experience with Dolphin Dynamics or similar booking management systems is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
