This role will be pivotal in supporting credit control and accounting support to the Companies within the Holding Group. Direct report to both Finance and Managing Director, this role will lend support to financial decisions based on cash flow information, reconciling of accounts and overall general administration of our finance department.

Account manager shall liaise with internal and external cross-functional teams (including sales and operations) to improve the entire customer experience. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager shall collaborate with the sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long term.

Accounts Responsibilities

. Assist with preparing and processing financial information

. Process Cabin hires through our Hire System

· Processing Sales & Hire Batch invoices and monthly statements

. Assist with processing weekly payroll in absence of Finance Manager

. Manage and seek approval of all Purchase orders i.e. < €1,500.00 seek approval from GM, > €2,000.00 seek approval from MD on all supplier purchases

. Completing UK Payments

. Preparing and processing CMR vat refunds from cabin suppliers

· Weekly/Monthly Creditor payments

· Reconcile creditors monthly statements

· Purchase orders / invoice daily processing and entering

· Raising sales invoices/credit notes on Sage and MCS

· Accounts filing and archiving

· Assist with Creditor/Debtor queries

· Supplying copy invoices/statements to customers

· Set up new Suppliers/Customers as required on finance systems

· General administration & cover for Finance Manager and Hire Controller when absent on leave / annual leave

· Assist with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts with our external Accountant Company

· Preparation and administration of VAT Returns

· Generate customer support contracts

. Complete Employee Inductions in absence of Finance Manager

. Adhoc duties as required

 

Ideal Candidate:

· 3+ years’ experience in a busy office environment
· Experience using accounting software systems
· Accounting Technician qualifications
· Competent with Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel

KPIs to be defined

 

Salary: €40k + DOE

Hours: 39hrs weekly
